GERI ASSESS® 2.0 –
Annotation Accuracy

Learn how Geri Assess® 2.0 enhances the accuracy and efficiency of embryo assessments with automated developmental event annotations. Download the Tech Note for a closer look at the results.
Manual embryo annotations can be time-consuming and subject to variability. In our latest Tech Note ,Geri Assess® 2.0: Annotation Accuracy, we dive into the performance of the Geri Assess® 2.0 automated software in detecting and recording key developmental events during embryo culture.
We conducted an extensive evaluation across two Genea clinics, analyzing over 3,700 developmental events from more than 400 embryos. This study compares the accuracy of automated annotations against manual annotations performed by experienced clinical embryologists. The focus was on critical events such as cleavage, reverse cleavage, fragmentation, and blastocyst transitions.
By evaluating the detection rate, accuracy, and false positive rates, this study sheds light on how Geri Assess® 2.0 supports clinical embryologists in streamlining embryo assessments, reducing observer variability, and ultimately improving decision-making for embryo transfers.
