Genea Biomedx has been closely monitoring the official advice regarding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and adopting best practice guidelines at all business levels to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
Our top priorities remain protecting our customers, staff and business partners while we are focusing on supplying high quality products to your IVF lab in this uncertain time. We have taken all the necessary steps to address concerns raised by our customers and employees and have implemented the following procedures:
- Maintaining Product Supply: Our global manufacturing operations are still running to ensure we meet customers’ needs during this epidemic.
- Supply Chain: Our distribution centre in Europe helps us to ensure supply of our products to your laboratory in the shortest possible time.
- Protecting our customers: We have comprehensive work instructions in place to protect the safety of our customers, incuding daily clean-down of production area and reducing contact with our customers by taking all necessary steps to avoid any direct physical contact.
- Protecting Our Employees: We immediately responded to the epidemic to protect our employees’ health and safety across all Genea Biomedx facilities. We follow the guidelines provided by the Australian Government and WHO. These steps include allowing all office staff to work from home, instructing staff to follow the social distancing rules, self-isolation if staff feel sick or return from overseas as well as restricting visitors at facilities.
- Further actions: All business travel has been cancelled. All Genea Biomedx sites are currently prepared to implement additional measures should the need arise.
